BIG J’S SHOWSTOPPIN’ STORE.
Supporting a multi-category e-commerce business across its storefront, website performance, email marketing infrastructure, social media and promotional campaigns.
A broader digital engagement built around more than the storefront.
One store. Multiple digital touchpoints.
Big J’s Showstoppin’ Store sells products across multiple categories, including fashion, jewelry, sunglasses, accessories, home finds and other merchandise. For a business like this, the customer experience extends beyond the website itself.
A growing online store operating across several channels.
The business needed to present and promote a changing range of products while also building its audience through social media, email and seasonal campaigns. Each channel served a different part of the customer journey.
Work on the system around the store, not only the storefront.
The engagement expanded across e-commerce optimization, website performance, email infrastructure, automated customer journeys, promotional content and social media support. The goal was to strengthen multiple parts of the business’s digital presence rather than treating them as disconnected tasks.
What needed to work together.
The engagement covered several areas of the digital customer journey, from the storefront visitors reached to the systems used to reconnect with them afterward.
Storefront
Support the online store and improve the digital experience customers encounter when browsing the business.
Website performance
Review and work on technical performance so the storefront could provide a stronger browsing experience across devices.
Email infrastructure
Establish the technical and marketing foundation required for branded email campaigns and automated customer communication.
Customer journeys
Create email touchpoints such as welcome and abandoned-cart automation to support customers beyond their initial visit.
Social presence
Support product visibility and audience development across Facebook, Instagram and other digital channels.
Campaigns
Create and support seasonal promotional activity around key retail periods and changing product priorities.
Start with the store itself.
An actual captured view of the Big J’s storefront from an earlier stage of the engagement. It provides visual context for the e-commerce environment being supported and optimized.
We only present evidence we actually have. Instead of manufacturing a second storefront image to create a more dramatic comparison, the next section documents another part of the work using the available PageSpeed evidence.
Multi-category navigation
A store carrying different types of merchandise needs product discovery and presentation that do not overwhelm the customer.
Changing product priorities
Promotional and seasonal activity means the products receiving attention can change throughout the year.
Connected customer journey
The storefront, social channels and email systems all contribute to how customers discover, revisit and interact with the business.
Optimization should leave evidence behind.
These are actual PageSpeed Insights captures associated with the Big J’s storefront. We present the recorded screenshots directly rather than replacing them with manually created performance claims.

What Meskpad actually worked on.
The engagement extended across the storefront and the digital systems around it. These workstreams show the practical scope rather than reducing the project to a generic “website design” description.
Storefront & e-commerce support
ONLINE STOREWork around Big J’s included supporting the customer-facing e-commerce experience and the broader environment in which products were being promoted.
Because the store carries products across several categories, the storefront needed to support changing merchandising and promotional priorities rather than function as a static catalogue.
Website performance work
OPTIMIZATIONTechnical performance formed part of the storefront work. PageSpeed Insights was used to inspect the site’s performance across mobile and desktop environments, with the captured evidence shown above.
Performance optimization matters because a storefront does not only need to look appropriate. Customers also need to be able to use it effectively across the devices through which they visit.
Email marketing infrastructure
OMNISENDThe email channel was developed beyond simply preparing occasional campaign copy. Work included establishing the technical foundation required for branded email communication.
Domain authentication work covered SPF, DKIM and DMARC configuration and verification, helping establish the infrastructure used for authenticated email sending.
Customer email automation
RETENTION JOURNEYSAutomated email journeys were established so communication with customers did not depend entirely on manually sending each message.
This included welcome communication for new subscribers and abandoned-cart automation designed to reconnect with shoppers who began a purchase journey but did not complete it.
Social media support
AUDIENCE & CONTENTMeskpad also supported the business across social channels, including product-focused content and promotional communication for Facebook and Instagram.
The role of the social channels was not separate from the store. They provided additional places for customers to encounter the brand, discover products and be directed toward the online store.
Seasonal campaigns
PROMOTIONAL EXECUTIONRetail priorities change throughout the year, so campaign support was developed around relevant promotional periods rather than using the same message continuously.
Campaign work included creative assets, promotional messaging, product communication and supporting content around periods such as Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day and Back to School.
Paid promotion preparation
CUSTOMER ACQUISITIONPaid promotion was also considered as part of the broader growth system, including campaign planning, advertising budget discussions and connecting promotional activity with the store’s customer acquisition goals.
This meant thinking beyond content creation alone and considering how owned channels, organic visibility and paid distribution could support the same business.
Building the system behind customer communication.
Marketing needs infrastructure too.
Email marketing is more than designing a message and pressing send. Before campaigns and automation can support the business, the underlying sending environment and customer journeys need to be established correctly.
The store doesn’t grow in isolation.
The engagement touched different parts of the customer journey, with each channel playing a different role around discovery, engagement, return visits and purchase opportunities.
Storefront
The destination where customers browse products and move toward a purchase.
Social media
A channel for product visibility, audience engagement and promotional communication.
A direct channel for customer communication, campaigns and automated follow-up.
Paid promotion
A potential distribution layer for extending campaign reach and supporting customer acquisition.
Marketing that changes with the retail calendar.
Different retail moments require different products, messages and creative direction. Big J’s promotional support included multiple seasonal campaign periods.
Seasonal promotion
Promotional communication and supporting content created around the Memorial Day retail period.
Product-focused communication
Content and promotional support aligned with Father’s Day and relevant shopping opportunities.

Proof where we have it. No invented results where we don’t.
This case study documents work carried out for Big J’s Showstoppin’ Store using available project information and visual evidence. The PageSpeed captures are presented as point-in-time technical evidence. Where verified revenue, conversion or attributable sales data is not available, Meskpad does not manufacture those figures for marketing purposes.
